Lightweight buggy for holiday <that old chestnut emoticon>

Going to New York in August when DD will be 2.7 and am thinking of buggy options as so many of them are reduced at the mo.

I have a Techno and a Bee either of which would be ok but heavy to transport. Other options I'm considering are;

M&P Cybex Ruby
M&P Trip
Mac Volo/Triumph
Silver Cross Fizz.

Any thoughts? I'm trying to weigh up comfort for DD who will sleep in it if we're sightseeing against lugging the damn thing to and fro. Plus we're coming back on a ship and the bigger the buggy, the less space in our cabin. Or am I just looking for an excuse to buy another buggy?

Triumph - shoulder strap makes it a winner in my book

So you do use the strap? I wondered if it was just a gimmick.

Have you had a look at the new M&P Tour? We just bought one for holidays/ taking to grandparents etc and really like it. I didn't like the poor visibility window on the Maclarens (used to a rear-facer), but the M&P view is great (9 month old DD was waving to me through it! ) and it has a carry hadle and shoulder strap. Feels good and DD seems comfy in it.

Actually after I posted this I did notice the Tour and the Trip. I'm leaning towards M&P because I don't know if it's worth getting another Mac as I already have a Techno. I like the bright colours on the Trip and Tour.
