Attaching a footmuff to a Maclaren Quest

Can anyone give me any advice on how to do this? Am drawing a complete blank! Do I have to have the Maclaren universal footmuff? I only have a generic Mothercare one. I've just bought the Maclaren cosytoes off ebay, but worried that might not fit either.
Thanks!

What is it you're struggling with? Just what tyoe to use?
I had a universal one from mothercare on my Quest.

To get it on you need to unclip the harness and I mean all the ones that clip, the one where the shoulder straps join the waist strap etc and slot it all through the holes on the footmuff.
You will have to lengthen the straps a bit too but any footmuff will fit on just some better than others.

HiINACIALA, thanks for your reply. I didn't think you could unclip the harness at all, but I've just followed your instructions and I see that it does come apart at the shoulder/waist straps. Thanks so much!

Glad you got it sorted.
I was worried I was being silly and telling you something you already knew.
