I'm having a bit of a debate with DP at the minute. Which would you say is best for a newborn Pliko Pramette or 3D. I know they are very similar but i'm looking for a pushchair that will last for this baby (unlike the 20 odd I had with DS). From my experience Silver Cross are not really made for bigger children i.e the footrest don't allow for long legger children and end up with their knees at their chin and mamas and papas I don't like the floating harness. - argghhhh.

Come on ladies and let me know what you think

Thanks x x

well i have m&p pliko pramette and its lasted my 17.5 months ds til now, who is quite big for his age. i've only just moved him to p&t now as needed a double, but he still would have fitted in it fine. only thing is its quite heavy as a buggy so would have been tempted to get rid of it and get a lighter stroller instead, but it felt a waste to do that when i had to buy the p&t aswel. i liked it as a pramette. i think the main advantage silvercross is supposed to have over it is that their carrycot might be removeable and this one isn't, but not a big deal

They are both very similar, practically the same pram. The 3d is much heavier though. I hate the floating harness on pliko. I've had both and honestly preferred the 3d.

I bought a pliko to leave in the car for this baby as I have my main pram then sold it and inted got a pliko switch as you can still use it RF longer than the 4ish months with both the pliko and 3d.

I would not use any of the above when little one is more than a year as I find them hard to steer/hold toddler's hand at same time so have a black mac XT for that.
