Do I really need a Mountain Buggy for DC3? (already have P&T)

Come convince me I shouldn't get a Mountain Buggy & Carrycot for DC3

I already have a P&T which is fine but not great for steering one handed

Get a baby Jogger elite instead. That's what i have. Really fantastic. Only 10kg easy to push 1 handed. Fastest easiest folding system and top quality too. Love it.

Thanks, just looked at it - no carrycot though?

Yes you can get a carry cot for the baby Jogger city elite. Look up the one sold by online4baby on ebay and give them a ring! Also check out the babyJogger website.

thanks, just checked them out
still prefer the MB

Here's the city classic with carry cot on - unbeatable price - if you like pink!

Thanks but no thanks - DH hates pink

coming back to this thread as DC3 is now here

I tried the P&T with DC2 & DC3 in - DC2 is too big really at 3 yo and there is no way I would get her under the hood

I had also forgotten how inaccessible the shopping basket is with the baby lying flat

I've just picked one up for £299 - winstanley pram centre + £28 for the carrycot off ebay.
I will never buy another Maclaren type pram and want something I can put put 6 year old in if we're out for the day and she's grumpy, nothing but a MB was up to that challenge.
