anyone bought anything from maclaren website?

I'm thinking of getting a Lulu Guinness footmuff and the one I was after on ebay is almost as expensive (when you factor in P&P) as the one on the Maclaren website shop. Has anyone ever ordered from them, and if so did you get your stuff relatively quickly?

There was a lulu guinness footmuff at John Lewis (website) half price a few months ago, I wonder if they have any left. It was the "bed of roses" one.

I wish I'd got the footmuff then. JL said they don't stock Maclaren footmuffs anymore.

I called Maclaren and they said their website is down. You can order over the phone and it can take up to a week to get stuff.

I called my local independent pram shop who told me that they sell their Lulu Guinness buggies with the footmuffs but can't sell them separately as Maclaren sell them the items together. As my DD is almost 2 the lady said the Maclaren footmuffs are usually small and I should use my Bugaboo one as that would fit. So I'm going to do that and save a few quid!

BTW I did look at getting a first wheels city elite (your other post) but didn't in the end as I couldn't get to see one in the flesh and at the time it was internet only. I have seen them since and they do look good.

There is a first wheels city elite on ebay for only £69 brand new now!
The Maclaren footmuff's are average in size i think.
The john lewis ones are bigger. I like their star one (red fleece big white stars).
Good plan to use your bugaboo one and save the pennies!

Mothercare have lulu guiness footmuff

Thanks different ID, I did see the footmuff on mothercare, but with P&P it'll be about £55. Maclaren had the old design for £40 inc P&P. I was after one on ebay as I sold 2 that were too small on there and had the paypal balance which was burning a hole in my pocket. Though why I never thought of using the bug one I already had I don't know!
