I'm just researching double buggies

Ds will be 2.4 when ds2 arrives but he is small for his age.

Wondering if anyone has one of these and what it's been like to use generally...

I've already ruled out a phil and teds and nipper 360 before anyone recommends them

All info greatly recieved!

putting some photos on my profile for you now. just for scale i put my dd2 in the front, she will be 4 in jan, it wasnt that bad to push around with her in it.

the twin club was heavy with the baby in the front!

it is very long, so maybe that's part of the trouble.
and also i figured if it was heavy with a newborn in the front, then as ds3 got older it was only going to get worse.
I liked being able to see them both, but it did seem odd havong the smaller one so far away lol

can both the seats fully recline at the same time?

Dalrymps · 02/12/2009 17:57

Thanks for all the pics mel! It's really useful to see it in all those modes

Btw, where did you get the cosytoes? Very cool!

Oh, and your daughter is adorable

they are stokke footmufs, they are fab, the fleece inside does bobble a bit in the wash but i dont mind as i love the pattern. i have used them in the bugaboo, mountain buggy, icandy, jane powertwin, and the bebcar so they are quite universal. i also have two lambskin footmuffs by felhof that are currently on my mountain buggy they are fantastic, one i have had for five years and still looks really good. it must have been in the wash hundreds of times.
yes both recline seats at the same time.

Dalrymps · 02/12/2009 21:27

Ah stokke eh, will have a look online for one, need one anyway for ds at the moment...

I really apprecate the trouble you've gone to to provide those pics, so kind of you.

How is the buggy going up and down kerbs?

Its actually really growing on me, there is a knack to getting the seats on and off and i have just about mastered it. its my car buggy and i havent been out loads so not been used alot yet. i just need to figure out a way to secure my jane surfer board on it or get a different board. the kiddyboard doesnt fit. the basket is much easier to get into than the jane and icandy. not had a problem with kerbs.

mel2005 · 12/12/2009 18:03

oh and the kit-sit buggyboard is fantastic on it.

Dalrymps · 12/12/2009 21:03

Ooh, thanks for the tip! Still searching for a reasonably priced on and indeed the money to buy it with
