M&P Aria - how do you fit the footmuff but retain the "freedom" harness?

My 12 month LO loves my cheapo secondary pushchair, the M &P Aria and now screams if she is put in her Quinny Speedi. This is because she loves the floating harness in the Aria which allows her to sit forward.

I'm not as keen on the Aria as the wheels are really poor but I'm happy for her to use it for a quiet life.

I've tried to fit the footmuff but I can't work out how to fit it without the back harness straps being stuck behind it which means she can't sit forward. I can't find the instruction manual.

Can anyone help?

On M and P footmuffs, there is a slit in the middle as well as the two side slits for the waist strap. Both the shoulder straps go through this and up over the child's shoulders. I hope that makes sense, I cant find a picture.
So you could either buy one of those or make a hole in your footmuff.

OMG I have spent the last year wondering what that extra hole was for one my footmuff. now I know I have just refitted it and it works much better. Can't believe I never realised!

Thanks.

All fitted now and she seems happy in it!
