Britax Vigour 3 or 4 Travel System - any recommendations?
overthemoon2009 · 18/10/2009 20:10
Hi
I tried out the Quinny Buzz today and really liked it, but when I googled it it seems that the reviews are not always v good (and it is pretty expensive).
I;ve been looking at the Britax Vigour 3 or 4, which ticks all my boxes (I want to be able to put a carrycot or car seat on the chassis, I want to be able to go on gravel paths, I want a rear facing seat option and I don't want it to be too big/ heavy). Do you recommend this pushchair? Any advice from anyone who has one?
Also, any advice on whether to get the 3 or 4 wheel version? I will be using it about town and on gravel paths (around a local lake).
Thanks!

I got the new britax 3 the other week from kiddicare...and....LOVE IT!!! very light, lays flat...hood is huge when its all up its like a little cave!...lots of head room and length, very easy to push, turn etc...haha
yep! sure do love it!
also like for when lo is older and her turn her facing outwards there's a little footplate thing which the older models dont have, oh also apparently the brake is flipflop friendly!, has a lovely large apron and raincover to go with it

Thanks, that's really helpful. What made you go for 3 over the 4 wheeled version?

i really wanted a 3 wheeler as have had an infinity before (did love) but felt it looked very similar to the 4 wheeled version and just fancied one that looks different....I havent seen many people with them at the mo, i looked at lots of 3 wheeled reversable, did look at quinny but didnt seem much seat or head room iykwim, my friend has got the older b.3 and has used it for walks on rough ground etc and rec it to me, she's very jel thou as mine has the extras i spoke about which she'd love! lol
let me know if you need anything else
love

oh and ment to say one of the other differences with the newer version is the recline...the older style sim to infinity etc where the whole seat reclines...this one just the back reclines and also has a seperate recline for the calf/foot part
