It's an XT.
Maclaren refers me to their service agents but I forsee questions about how long I have had it and where I bought it and in fact it would be an ebay purchase.

the service agents are usually independent repairers
unless you are hoping to have it done under warranty it doesn't matter when or where you got it

Oh ok.

can i barge in..just to be nosey, mine broke as well, its the 07 model, mothercare said it will cost£60.00 to repair,as i didnt regeser it,i dont get it fixed for free.

£60 is mad!
I just thought if I could get ahold of a footrest I could find someone to put it on.
I know that Maclaren spares are notoriously pricy.

Try an independent store we certainly don't charge that much and I'm sure many others don't either!

FlyMeToDunoon · 17/09/2009 12:36

kelly do you keep the footrests?

I do or can easily get what year model is it? The only thing is you need to rivet them on with a riveting tool would you have access to one?

FlyMeToDunoon · 17/09/2009 16:42

Er no.
Would a garage be able to do that sort of thing?

Fo future though dunoon, it is easy to do the rivet thing......having an old VW camper helps in more ways than one

FlyMeToDunoon · 18/09/2009 11:26

I love your camper.
Someone advised DP to get one as he had to lose his cave study to DD1 when DD3 arrived. Said park it outside and use that. Then in the summer go on holiday in it.
