Can I get the spongy handles for it?

The handles are very, very sticky.

So far, so good pleased with it - got the covers off to wash and found the head pillow!!

Try washing the handles with a damp cloth with a bit of fairy liquid - then wipe off with a damp cloth - I had sticky handles for a bit

If all else fails use cycling handlebar tape?

That sticky thing is horrid and I never worked out how to get rid of it.

Its on an XT I just bought second hand, so feels a bit yuck!
