I’m having a nightmare with Mamas & Papas over our Vardo and would love some opinions.
I’ve only used the pram a few times but when I tip the pram to get over a kerb/step, the whole seat unit tips forwards on the chassis. This has happened twice with my LO actually sitting in it. She’s just been thrown forward!
I sent videos to M&P and one of their advisors watched them and told me it was definitely not meant to do that and authorised a replacement. The replacement then did exactly the same thing.
They’ve now had their teams review it and are saying it’s an intended feature so that children can pull themselves into an upright position? I don’t see why my 6 month old needs to adjust her seat position! They also then said it wouldn’t tip forward with the weight of a child in it.. but it did.. twice!
I’ve asked what safety testing has been done to show this is safe with a child in the seat, particularly as the seat is advertised from birth with no minimum weight. They haven’t provided this and have now said they won’t do anything further.
I’m honestly furious and don’t feel comfortable using it.
Am I being unreasonable?? I would expect the seat to lock into place. I no longer feel confident in the pram especially as one of their own customer care advisors initially agreed the pram shouldn’t do that and issued a replacement.
I feel really let down by them.
