Double buggy for tall toddler and newborn suggestions

Hello. I have a 2 and a half year old who is quite tall for his age and about to give birth to a baby in a few weeks. I’m looking for a double buggy with a baby coccoon attachment as I’d still like my toddler to have the option of having a nap or rest if we are out so a side by side buggy is what I’m looking for. I’d like something suitable for outdoors ideally and I’m happy with second hand. Some of the double buggies I have seen on the market that look like they wouldn’t be big enough for my toddler so just wondering if anyone has been in the same situation and have any recommendations. Probably looking at spending £300 max second hand and something like an Out n About with a cocoon baby attachment.
thanks,
Louisa

Hiya! Congratulations.

I have this;

used to use this with it too

I used it for my newborn and 2 year old.

They are now just coming up to 1 and 3 and it’s perfect. They are comfortable in it and I like using it.

Beat of luck.

The out n about double was good for my two kids when they were younger, we had a 2 yr age gap and they're definitely tall for their age (99th percentile, my 7yr old is in 9yr old clothing :| I'm 5ft 11, husband 6ft 5). You can get them 2nd hand and they seem to last and last, and you can buy spare parts on the out n about website still, i think they do a cocoon now too that they didnt do when my youngest was born.

We had a mountain buggy duet which worked well for a tall toddler. It was useful enough but I would say that with a similar age gap to you older DS didn't go in it that much, and buggy naps were pretty much over.
