How to safely store a pushchair and carrycot in a small boot

Anyone got a tiny car boot and had to remove parcel shelf to get chassi and carrycot in? How did you deal with keeping them safe so they couldn’t cause an injury in an accident?

Put a dog guard in, then you can use full height of the boot space too. It’s a game changer

Get a second hand Yoyo with infant pack. Way way easier. My baby liked it much better than the pram because he could see out too
