Travel pushchair recommendations with one-handed fold and cabin approval

Hi all,

Has anyone got any good travel pushchair recs? My daughter is 13 months old and average size for her age. I need a travel pushchair that can close 1 handed and is cabin approved. I was looking at the bugaboo butterfly 2 in mauve, but I’ve heard it scratches really easily? I preferably want a pink/ mauve coloured one if possible!

It’s the original and best - every airline recognises it for a reason.

I now use only that with my second child so it’s been a real investment.

Yoyo is the only one you won't have issues with taking in the cabin, just remember it counts as your 'cabin luggage' like a suitcase so make sure you add that to your booking if it's not included. It's not technically one handed but you can absolutely fold it whilst holding a baby.

Alt opinion but the Joolz Aer 2. I much prefer it to the Yoyo (sturdier, wheels proper rubber not plastic so it is quiet, the Yoyo is so noisy on pavements!) never had any problems taking it on long or short haul flights, was recognised by multiple airlines. Fits in overhead and easy, true one-handed fold. I got it as second pushchair for my first and will be the only one I use for my second (I swear I don't work for Joolz! I just really really love this pushchair, turns on a dime in our narrow Victorian hallway as well). Don't know if it comes in pink though!

Another vote for joolz aer 2. Much prefer the 1 handed fold and sturdier than yoyo i feel. Mama and papas do both I think, so put them side by side and have a play. Had my joolz 2 years and love it still. Been all over the world with it and use daily for school runs with my older 2 children too. Cheaper than yoyo too I think? Yoyo was leading years ago but hasnt improved (awkward fold and i needed 2 hands, maybe I just never got the knack), others have come on. I'm a couple of years out of date, so might be yoyo or others have improved so keep looking at others. Bugaboo butterfly i found felt not as stable somehow, but this was a shop try-out only 2 years ago and may have changed.

No idea on joolz aer colours. If you're thinking of having any more children, maybe just consider if you'd want pink/mauve for a boy? You'd automatically get the "isn't she pretty" comments dressed head to toe in blue if he's in a pink/mauve buggy.

it’s brilliant and much prefer it over the YoYo, I have a 1 yo and 4 yo and given the amount of detritus I need to carry, the YoYo just wasn’t cutting it anymore.
As a PP has said, the YoYo is really noisy, especially on European streets, I find the butterfly much quieter and the suspension helps with naps. Still folds one handed and is light enough to carry

@SareBear87 do you find the bugaboo scratches a lot? I really love the look of it and seems perfect for what I want, but I’ve heard a lot of people say it scratches really easily. I wouldn’t go for the yoyo, personally not my style and seems outdated compared to what’s on offer now.
