iCandy Pip or Bugaboo Butterfly 2? ❓

I can’t decide!

They both seem to have similar features including ones that are importantly to me such as lie flat, lockable front wheels and so on.

I know the Bugaboo doesn’t come with the bar (and I’m not sure it can be folded down with the bar in place, which might be a pain?), but for me I think it looks a little bit more attractive than the iCandy? But the Pip is quite a bit cheaper.

Please help me make a decision!

I am literally deciding between these two. I was obsessed with the butterfly. Then saw the pip and now can’t decide. The icandy sits up straighter than the butterfly and also I find the pips clips much easier when you are trying to wrestle a toddler in.

I have had a Bugaboo butterfly for 3 years and love it. Never had the bar for it (not sure what the bar is even for). It’s been worth every penny for me. We’ve given it an absolutely battering over the years as we travel a lot and it’s still going strong. It was a big expense that we wouldn’t normally go for but I am so glad we did.
can’t comment on the other one as I’ve no experience if it.

That’s interesting as in store it felt like the Butterfly 2 could go quite upright. Hmm…!

Ah so the Butterfly 2 will go fully upright to a 160° lie flat position. I wish I could win the lottery!!

We have the butterfly and my friend has the pip. The pip’s lovely, but after trying to wrestle her 2 year old into it, I’d choose the butterfly every time! With the pip you have to line up the magnetic clasp to clip the child in (really hard with a thrashing toddler), whereas with the butterfly you can clip in a strap (or a limb!) at a time which is much easier if they’re wriggling

Oh no, the Pip is literally being delivered tomorrow 🙈

In the end it came down to the extra cost. I just couldn’t justify the extra £100 of the Butterfly no matter how lovely…!
