Switching to an iCandy Pip at 20 months - would you?

We’ve had a Cosatto Wow 2 since DD was born. It handles any terrain and is lovely to look at BUT bugger me do I get so frustrated when trying to collapse it! I need to push a button in on either side of the pram, to lift the seat up from the frame. And I don’t know whether it’s stiff or whether I’m weak, but I can never do it first time. Either one side comes out and the other one doesn’t, or neither side comes out. I’m sure my neighbours have seen me struggling and saying I HATE THIS BLOODY THING on more than one occasion. PLUS it takes up so much space in the boot!

Recently I’ve been going round looking at one click collapsible prams and I really like the look of the iCandy Pip. It folds up, it’s one touch, it lies flat, the front wheels can be locked etc. I really want it 😆 BUT is it crazy to spend £350 on a new pram at this age? DH is leaning against the idea. But he is able to detach the Cosatto seat from the frame with ease, so he doesn’t understand my pain!

I suppose the question isn’t whether you’d switch to the Pip per se, but more: “Is it worth switching to a compact pushchair at 20 months?!”

Icandy have great resale! I’ve not tried the pip, but I would always err on the side of convenience when 20month old are concerned

At that age I'd just get a decent / cheap stroller like the Joie Nitro, or find something second hand.

Ooh, 50/50! 😁

I’ve just had a look on FB marketplace and you are right @TheGirlWhoLived, the Pips are selling for £300!

Yeah so really it’s MORE economical to get the pip! I say go for it 😁
