Tall toddler pushchair recommendations or alternatives

Hi all,

My almost 2.5 year old is a tall lad, he’s currently 100cm and is pretty long bodied at around 55cm.
Hes outgrown his current pushchair and we still use it regularly so would like to get a replacement one for however long he will still use it for (will likely buy used).

The issue I’m having is that Ive only found 1 pushchair so far with a long enough backrests that doesn’t look comfortable.
I’ve looked at the baby joggers and out and about too but the seats don’t look tall enough for my son (unless I’m wrong?)?

Does anyone have any recommendations for pushchairs or alternative solutions? We’ve considered a bike trailer in pushchair form but not sure how comfy or practical they are? But seem like more head room?

My 112cm 4 year old can still fits comfortably in our out n about. Around £100/150 2nd hand but hold their value really well. Lovely to push too.

Aw brilliant thank you for your reply! Are they long bodied as well? Does the hood sit at the top of the seat or is there space?
it’s so hard to tell as there’s nowhere around me we can go try them out!

My DD wasn’t able to walk until 4. We used a MacLaren stroller. This was 10 years ago. Might still be some about on the selling groups from someone’s attic- they were strong as steel.

She's pretty even at the moment.
There isn't masses of headroom but she doesn't complain. From the base of the seat to the hood its about 56cm

One of the Maclaren strollers, Techno XT I think we had. I seem to remember I could sit in it without too much discomfort. They’re workhorses.

The Silver Cross Pop stroller has a pretty tall back. My son is 3.5 but tall and still has plenty of room in it. I can still put the hood over it properly without it touching his head.

Baby jogger. My 98th percentile DS was very long bodied and used it until 4yrs. With the sit up strap it’s perfect.
