Pram help! Egg 3 or Silver Cross Reef 2

Hello mums, I am a first time mum looking to purchase either the Egg 3 or the Silver Cross Reef 2 and need help deciding which one! I can't find any 'real life' reviews, only shops trying to sell them.
I have seen both and love bits of both of them but now need to make a decision and I am really struggling. We have a dalmatian so it is essential that the pram is suitable for walks although we will probably carry on really rough terrain.
I felt like the egg was more sturdy when I moved it side to side and the silver cross had some wiggle room but preferred the fact the silver cross pram seat can fold, whereas the egg can't.... so many thoughts and unable to make this decision! Help me please!! Thank you :-)

I don’t have experience with either, but if I were looking for a pram for rough terrain I’d probably be looking more towards the Bugaboo Fox 5 or Uppababy Vista which are some of the sturdier four wheel prams. Though if your routes are really rough a three wheel option might be better, thought that would mean facing outwards after the bassinet stage. And the carrier may well be the best option - my baby generally prefers the carrier and I do a lot of walks pushing around an empty pushchair so I’m glad I didn’t get a big pram for walking with (though I don’t have a dog!)

For me, the pram not folding into a single piece was a hard no, which would rule out the Egg. It was annoying during the bassinet stage to have to disassemble and reassemble, and was part of the reason I switched to the seat after three months. Only you know how important that is for you - and you might not have as much as a bee in your bonnet as I do.

I would also agree that the seat unit not folding is annoying and possibly even impractical. I replaced our silver cross coast with a vinici tinum and the things that mattered in the switch were;
Folded size (including whether the seat unit folds with)
Folding mechanism (you will inevitably need to do this with one hand when the baby won't be put down and lift it into the car so weight also matters)
Suspension/size of wheels
Whether you have to empty the basket to fold
Size/coverage of hood
Ventilation
Whether the seat until actually lays flat, most babies outgrow the bassinet before 6 months so you need a lay flat seat unit

But I wouldn't worry about the off road too much, it's much easier to carry when you've got the dog
