Bugaboo Fox Bassinet on British Airways Flight?

Hi there,

We’re travelling with our six week old baby boy this Thursday from Heathrow to Marseille and want to take our Bugaboo Fox (original) with the bassinet.

The rules state you can only take foldable pushchairs but I’m wondering if anyone has any experience of taking the bassinet with them?? The frame is foldable but the bassinet is not. Will they allow us to check it in?

Any advice very much appreciated!

Thank you!

Can you purchase a travel bag to put it in? We had an Uppababy and we purchased the travel bag for this reason. Do Bugaboo do something similar?

Thanks @FamilyAreEverything I’ve just bought the bugaboo travel bag which can fit it all in. Do you have to check this in or can you take it through to the gate and then pack it up do you know?

Brilliant! So at check in they put a luggage tag on the bag, then we took it to the gate and packed it there and it went in the hold. I would assume you can do the same with BA.
