Nuna triv next from newborn?

Has anyone used a nuna triv next or similar for a newborn without getting a bassinet? They say the seat is suitable, but I'm looking for experience!

not sure if it’s helpful at all but I have the Nuna mix next and used the bassinet from newborn. We swapped to the pram seat at 3/4 months, it does lie flat but you have to strap them in using a normal pram strap which on the pram seat I can’t picture fitting a newborn snugly…? It’s quite open compared to the bassinet as it’s only the hood that folds down fully. Hope that helps x
