Bugaboo Fox 5 or Uppababy Vista V3?

Due first baby in May and after a lot of testing out in store and reading up online we are torn between these two.

Love the feel and look of the bugaboo and have had family recommendations who swear by it. My only slight concern is the size of the bassinet and if it will feel cumbersome in shops and restaurants and fill up my large hatchback. The bassinet also felt low but understand you can buy risers to bring baby closer.

A surprise contender was the Vista V3 which felt good as well and slightly more compact/easy to fold down with a huge basket - not as in love with the look of it and reviews are more limited online being a newer model.

We live in the country and quite outdoorsy but visit town/city often, so looking for a true allrounder.

I love my vista v2. Others find it too big/cumbersome but both me and DH are really tall so actually fits us really well!

Basket is amazing, envy of all we go out with. And it's long so our tall baby fits well in it. Definitely good on uneven terrain. I imagine bugaboo fox is also great though.

What car do you have? Both will take up A LOT of room. We had to swap to an estate.

We have the Vista 2 and I love the basket, like that it can become a double pram and find it pretty good on most terrains.

However it is awful on mud, as I think most of those types of prams are. It gets all clogged up in the front wheels and you can't move.

If you like to get out for walks in the winter I'd suggest either using a carrier or something like the out & about or hauck all terrain. You want something that doesn't enclose the front wheels, because that's where the mud gets jammed.

Do measure if you have small boot, as both take up a lot of space, especially with the bassinet. But you will only be using the bassinet for 4-6 months.
