Compact stroller for very tall toddler

Any recommendations would be much appreciated!

Our two year old is very tall for his age. He is already too tall for his Joie Versatrax pram, which is meant to be up to four years. We have loved the Joie, but it's a little bulky to carry up and down stairs with a toddler in tow, which I sometimes need to do when visiting London. I would love to find a relatively compact pram that I can fold and carry when needed – it doesn't need to fit into overhead storage on a plane. Sturdy wheels that can handle rougher terrain are also important, as we live near a country park and are often walking on muddy paths and grass. Does anyone have any recommendations? I am considering the Babyjogger City Mini 2, Bugaboo Butterfly and Joie Parcel Signature.

Thanks in advance!

Baby Jogger all the way. The Butterfly won't be robust enough for rougher terrain (not sure about the Joie) But the BJ seat is big... can fit a decent sized 4 yr old in it and they fold brilliantly and are easy to lug around.

Thanks for the response! Have you ever had any issues with the stroller not being fully upright? I am definitely leaning Baby Jogger now, but I wonder if my son will get annoyed by the slight recline.

Cybex Easy Twist. Hands down it is my favorite pushchair.

Folds small
Sits upright
Parent or world facing
Easy to push
Turns on its own footprint
Fabric has lasted really well
Decent sized basket for size of pushchair
Can fold one handed while holding child or child's hand
Fits in luggage racks

It wouldn't be good for frequent off road walking though, particularly with a heavy child, as it gets thrown off centre and tips in those circumstances. That said, I've pushed it around many grassy fetes and nobody died Grin

I have four kids and have had many many single and double buggies. This one wins!

Ebay...google sit up strap... it will work on all but the latest models (so perfect if you get a second hand one) ..makes the seat upright.
