Nuna triv vs uppababy

Hi,

totally overwhelmed by prams! I was really taken by the nuna triv in John Lewis but reading online…I’m not finding a lot of positives. The wheels and ?customer service seem to be a negative.

For context we’re in a top floor flat with lots of stairs so being lightweight is key. However, I do expect to leave the main base in the car so won’t be trekking that up the stairs every day. Just plan on carrying the bassinet up. The uppababy gets good reviews but it really is heavier. We are in the middle of a city so won’t be doing walks over difficult terrain but we do like to be out and about so it needs to have some robustness.

what are people’s experiences with these prams? Thanks so much!!

Personally if you’re in the middle of the city have you looked at a Yoyo2? We have one as a spare for my little car with very little boot space, and it’s great!! You can get the newborn bassinet for when they’re little and then the seat attachment until they’re four. It’s so easy to fold and has a shoulder strap so you can carry it like a handbag. It’s really smooth and easy to push! Or I also liked the bugaboo dragonfly in the shop, again very light and folds very easily.
we have the Icandy core for our main pram and that’s got a very easy to detach bassinet and two sets of wheels , the bundle came with loads of stuff for about £800, think they have the sale still on. It’s great to push but a bit heavier. Baby very comfortable in it.

Thanks for your reply! I felt the yoyo seemed good but maybe not as robust as the nuna. But it does seem to get consistently good reviews so will need to have a think

We had a Nuna Mixx and had very good customer service when it developed a fault. A friend has the Triv in an upstairs flat and really likes it.
