Any Nuna Triv Next owners out there?

I’m interested in buying this pram for our first (and very likely only) baby but the concern I’m having is the car seat. We could buy the bundle with the car seat and base but I don’t want to be locked into Nuna products if, for example, I don’t like the first car seat we get for baby. There’s also the option for the car seat without the base which I quite like, but wonder how practical that will be to get baby in and out. I’d quite like to get a maxi cosi but in store today I was told they’re not officially compatible with the Nuna Triv Next frame, so that’s left me flummoxed.

Did those of you who got a different (incompatible) car seat regret not being able to put it on the pushchair frame? Or is there an adaptor out there for it that I’ve not found? Maybe it didn’t matter that much?

Or maybe you got a Nuna car seat and love it? Would really like to hear people’s experiences.

Hello, I might be too late with this response but essentially the Nuna adapters also fit other brands e.g. Maxi Cosi, Cybex, Joie and Britax. Nuna just don't approve any other brands officially - they only test their prams with their own car seats.

You do sometimes find it sold in a bundle with Maxi Cosi or Cybex as these are the most popular brands generally.

Don't feel that you're locked into a brand anyway just by getting the isofix base that takes both infant and toddler seat - in the vast majority of cases, it's more cost effective not to bother with the toddler seat from those sets, and opt for one which doesn't need a separate base anyway. They tend to be cheaper, and you get more options plus you get to keep the base to use for another baby if you have one.

@BertieBotts thanks for the reply! So we have now bought the Nuna triv next and the maxi cosi pebble 360 pro and it turns out they do fit each other, so I’m glad we bought it! I found someone’s comment on an old thread saying they fit and decided to risk it. Hopefully others will find this thread helpful in future.
