Is it insane to get an orange pram?

Went shopping for my pram for my first baby who I'm expecting in a few months.

I'm very inexperienced with babies and I know very little about what to look for in a pram, so I found the process really helpful. We have a small car so we are limited in what we can buy, and we found that we were between the Egg2 and Venicci unlike travel systems.

The shop we visited only had blacks, greys and neutrals in both and I found I really hated the look of rhe Venicci upline despite absolutely loving how quick and easy it is to fold, and how lightweight the system is.

I slightly preferred the egg2 but I still hated the colours it came in, bur when I went online I found that it comes in orange (paprika) and - bonus - this colour is 500 quid cheaper than the neutral colours I didn't like.

Has anyone bought a brightly coloured pram ans regretted it? I'm worried that I'll get fed up of it, even though I absolutely love the burnt orange colour (I'm very into mid-century/70s vibes) but as I'm going to be using this for rhe next 3 years on a daily basis, I'm wondering is it safer to get a neutral colour?

Got mine second hand so was pleased to be saving the money and didn't care about the colour. It was bright orange! Love that shade of orange you've found, go for it!

My car is that colour. Frankly the £500 savings would swing it for me (I wanted a red car but not willing to pay £795 extra). Mind boggles at the price of prams these days!

It will attract bees and wasps and I'd hate that

What a load of rubbish!

Looks fab to me, buy the pram you love. Many congrats btw.

We paid extra to buy a coloured hood for our pram purely based on personal preference but I'd really recommend it for practical reasons, namely spotting your pram in a huge pram park full of black prams if you go to a baby/toddler event (I could also spot my husband instantly from across the other side of the huge busy park based on the pram colour too).

Re. Attracting insects. Not personal experience but I do remember when I was looking at reviews for the bugaboo Bee that a fair few of the reviews said the (very) bright yellow hood attracted insects in summer. Different kettle of fish I think though.

That orange is lovely and looks practical.
