Why is it impossible to buy an iCandy orange without a carrycot?

Has anyone been able to buy an iCandy orange with two seats but no carrycot? I refuse to pay for something we aren’t going to use. We’ve decided on the Icandy orange after months of pushing all the prams in all the shops and we’ve decided it’s the best suited to our needs (but will bankrupt us). We’ve already got a 1 year old and another one on the way but we have decided we do not want the carrycot as it’s a lot of extra expense for 5 months of use. Instead we are going to use the seats that supposedly aren’t suitable from birth (they are - they just want you to buy the carrycot as well!).

Please let me know how and where you had success with this purchase combination!

Thank you!

Try looking for a second hand one.

You'll still get the carry cot but it will be cheaper overall.

Alternately use the carry cot for day time naps in the home as well instead of a Moses basket or crib

Thanks. We are also looking second hand and it is an option but we plan to have a big family and this thing is going to be running for a long time so we are thinking of making the investment now. Still very much considering second hand though, but the same applies to that re the carry cot! Still paying for something we don’t need especially as we already have a carrycot from our single pram.

If you're planning a large family it won't hurt to have another carry cot around.

Plus it will make it more saleable by you if you have it.

We got a second had vista from someone who had twins so we got 2 carry cots. The second one is still in the box she gave it to us in. Might be useful to the next person who has put buggy
