how to choose?

Hi there, should I use an in-store expert, shop online, or use my family/friend advice??? I have no idea where to start!

Start with key criteria

1. any physical limitations or needs. Will you need lightweight to push or lift? Are you tall or short? Etc

2. where do you live? Town / country?

3. how do you travel about? Will it be mostly public transport or own car? If own car how big is your boot (measure it) will you need a car seat that moves between buggy and car?

4. where can you store it? What space to you have for it when not in use?

5. how do you live? Are you active? Always out walking? Will you need to walk to do shopping? Do you travel lots?

6. how many kids are you planning? Will you need a double at some point sooner rather than later

7. budget - realistically how much can you spend? Some travel systems can run into the thousands (though you can often get good deals second hand)

8. how do you access your home? Are there any steps? How wide is your door way (measure this)

Once you have the answers to these you can narrow down the choice a lot. Then speak to other parents and read some reviews. Finally go to see them in real life.
