Has anyone ordered a pram from Europe in order to avoid flame retardants?

I’ve just learned about flame retardants being added to all prams supplied in the UK, while apparently these chemicals are considered harmful in other countries. I’m pregnant with my first and now considering ordering a pushchair from Europe, most likely Germany as I understand that their standards are stricter when it comes to FR.

If any of you have gone down this route, are there any online stores that you’d recommend that deliver to UK? I was looking at Amazon but can’t find most of the models that I’m interested in.

Also, does ordering from Germany guarantee that the pushchair won’t contain flame retardants or do I need to contact each company separately? I’m currently considering Baby Jogger, Bugaboo and Babyzen so any info about the materials they use is greatly appreciated!

Bumping for you. If no flame retardents, how safe against fire are they? My dd had a lamp set her mattress and duvet on fire once in the night so I am highly alert to the importance of mattress safety etc.
