Has anyone used the Egg pram as a double?

Hi all, I have the Egg pram for my 13 month old and I’m due a second baby end of November. I am wondering about buying the adapter to put on the Egg pram to convert it and was wondering if anyone has ever used this and would you recommend it? Have you found it easy to use?

I’m hoping I won’t need it often as DS is walking fine now, but it would be handy for longer days out if he needed a nap.

Thanks

I've seen it as a double and it seems to have the same amount of space as my icandy iyswim. Looks fine

I've used it as a double. I had a 26 month gap between my two and it really worked well. I didn't find it too heavy to push and was easy to get baby in and out of the carrycot or toddler out of the bottom seat.

Just to add that the footprint as a tandem isn't that different to it as a single so I always found it easier to have it continuously set up as a tandem on the off chance my oldest was tired and wanted to pop in for a bit (I don't drive so would sometimes he out all day with it). I also find the empty second seat great for getting food shopping and transporting it. I'm expecting my third child now and will have a 24 month gap with them so will be using the egg tandem again.

That’s brilliant, thank you both. Saves buying a whole new pram!
