Recommendations and Where can you actually go try a double buggy?

With my first pregnancy I lived in Mothercare and Babies R Us trying out buggies and looking at products.

I know Mamas & Papas are still going but feel they are quite expensive.

Where can you go now a days to try things out? Not a massive fan of online shopping for such things.

Also, any recommendations for a cheap, easy to fold double buggy for newborn and 3.5ft toddler weighing roughly 19kg ?

Where are you based? I tried mine at Pramsy - they sell second-hand refurbished buggies and you can go and try them out x

I had a bugaboo donkey duo and it's done me for 3 kids and even goes into a single when i only have the baby ! It fits on buses and all shop doors unlike other ones. My friend never used be able go into shops with her oram. They push so easy an their. Light but they don't fold in 1! Only downfall otherwise amazing. Can get them fairly cheap second hand xx

If you can't test them in person then you'll just need to trust reviews.

We've just bought a Double Nipper; Mumsnet rated it as the no.1 double buggy: https://www.mumsnet.com/reviews/double-buggies/out-n-about-nipper-double
It's very light and handles so easily.

We got ours second hand for £120; I love a bargain! Grin

One of the reason we hope to test one is to make sure our toddler fits comfortably in it as she's so tall xx

My 4yo and 3 yo can still fit into my bugaboo now with my newborn so their seats are pretty big. My kids are tall but they struggle walking so always comes in handy!! X

Recommend the Corstorphine pram Centre, they were fab when we needed a new buggy. Very knowledgeable staff and happy for us to try heavy toddler out in lots of different ones.

John Lewis? I tried out a Phil and Teds in our local one, then purchased a secondhand one on eBay Blush.
