Bugaboo Bee w/carrycot - ok from birth?

Hi all!

We live in a smallish flat in central London, so our priorities with a stroller are: has to be small/foldable, has to be suitable from birth up to 2-3 years including a lie-flat carrycot (so we avoid ending up with 2 strollers down the line!) and has to be good on 'urban' terrain. FTM here at 25 weeks!

I am looking into the Bugaboo Bee as it seems to tick all the boxes -- does anyone have it and have used it as their only stroller from birth, with the carrycot? Is the carrycot suitable for napping in the house when baby is 0-4 months (in lieu of a bassinet/cot in the room)? We only plan to buy a crib, and no bassinet/co-sleeper, so i'd like the stroller's carrycot to be sturdy enough for napping in the house if needed.

Any other suggestion for a stroller+carrycot combo good to use from birth and small-ish are welcome!

Thank you!

Bumping this up and also... I am now looking at the Maxi Cosi Laika, which seems to tick all the same boxes as the bugaboo Bee but cheaper? But I cannot find many endorsements online about it. Anyone has experience with it?
