Out n About Nipper Double or Mountain Buggy Duet?

Can you help me choose? I am due to have a 13 month age gap between my babies and so looking into a double buggy.

We live rurally so needs to be very very good off road. We have a Bugaboo now that someone gave us and it is useless on most of the terrain I walk on.

The Out n About Nipper appeals to me most for the performance off road, but I don’t like that the options are either baby laying flat facing me or sat up but facing out. I like to have my babies facing me as long as possible but we removed the carrycot from the Bugaboo when DS was 3 months (he just used to rattle about in it on bumpy walkways so I preferred having him strapped into a seat but tilted flat)

The things I like about the Mountain Buggy are all the seating options - so youngest baby could be in a seat high up and facing me while eldest can be facing out for example. I also like that it can be converted to a single so if there is an interim when eldest no longer needs the buggy but I still need it for youngest, I won’t be pushing around a double needlessly. I don’t know if that’s what will happen though, it might always be handy to have the second seat option for a tired older child! I’m just not as convinced the Mountain Buggy will be as good off road.

Does anyone have any insights that might help me choose?!

I would go for the Mountain Buggy purely for the narrow width, the Nipper would not fit through my front door, but I realise that may not be an issue for you.
