Complaints on Mothercare Journey Edit

So I bought this pram in Navy back in August. My baby was born in January. Bought it early because loads of the stores were closing and we were worried they might stop making it.
We couldn't afford one of the expensive brands and this pram is just perfect and amazing for the money.
But I'm having a few issues and was wondering if anyone else is having the same.
Firstly, the raincover split up the seam the first time I used it. This was in January and I am still waiting for a Replacement even after calling every week. They finally sent me the universal mothercare weathershield last week but it doesn't fit over the carrycot.

Secondly, the hood on the carrycot keeps falling down on the first latch. Every time I go over a bump or attempt to put on the raincover it just keeps falling down.
Thirdly, the leather on the handles is falling down. It's now exposing the black foam at the top next to the black middle section.
I've only been using it since January. I'm worried it's going to look horrendous by the time I use it for my second baby.
Anyone else got the same issues?

Yes to the split on the raincover the first time I used it! I didn’t bother getting a replacement yet but wish I had as it’s just gotten worse. I’ve also found that when it was in pram mode the Velcro flap on the pram cover lost its stickiness very quickly.

However I will say that here this pram takes a battering. I don’t drive and walk about 2 hours a day with school runs and to work. I’m constantly putting it back and forth into pram mode as my dc sleeps in it at home and sometimes at nursery and it is holding up really well. She’s now nearly 1 and still sleeps in it in pram mode at home sometimes 😂 All in all I’m happy with it, but was cross about the rain cover. If anyone has gotten a replacement that fits it I’d love to know which one.

How are the leather handles on yours. Are they sliding down away from the black plastic in the middle. X
