Pushchair for no2, 5 years later!

My second baby is due in October. My first was born spring 2014 and determined not to spend a fortune on a travel system, I went for a britax b-agile. This was great when she was tiny, easy and compact and quick to clip the car seat to when nipping into shops etc and we used the Pram part for walks/days out.

It was however, rubbish when she got bigger and hard to push. I had a petite star/njoy bubble, an umbrella fold stroller that faced both ways. I LOVED it. They aren’t made anymore :(

I thought I’d got for a cosatto to and fro for any second child but they only like flat parent facing, so that’s out as no1 stayed parent facing in the bubble for ages, until it died. Then I had a Joie Nitro which was brill and lasted her till she was done.

So now I’m tempted to go for a slightly more expensive travel system/pushchair that can parent face for longer. Or is there another parent facing umbrella fold stroller in the world?

I had hoped, 5 years on someone would have invented something!

Thank you.

I also have a five year age gap! I haven’t tried it yet but have bought a cybex eezy s twist for this reason. I don’t like the lack of foot rest but think I have figured a way around this.

There’s also the baby jogger vue, which is the same as the njoy.

Or lots of bigger parent facing buggies these days!

Ooh thanks! Have looked at the vue and it looks great, but now I’m wibblibg that no1 won’t be able to push it cause there’s no adjustable handlebar, and I know she will want to push the newbie. Tying myself in knots already!

Mamas & Papas Ocarro all the way. It's been a brilliant buggy.

I splashed out on a bugaboo Fox for dd 2 and I love it! It feels so much sturdier than the joie I had for dd1 and is lovely to push.

Hi Peachpotato,
Can I ask what solution you found to the lack of foot rest on the cybex Eezy twist?
Thanks
