My Child Easy Twin Stroller - reviews?!

Aries456 · 07/06/2018 14:36

Hi, I am currently trying to find a twin buggy for when baby #3 comes along with my 18 month old. Has anyone got one of these?

Failing that, am looking for a twin buggy that can have a travel cot and car seat option and ideally forward and rear facing seat options. I can only seem to find this, Mountain Duet and Bugaboo Donkey... any other tips greatly appreciated!

Anyone? Even seen one? I have found 3 reviews online that are all 5* but that is after trawling the whole web!

Ive done the same thing and couldnt find any reviews. Im thinking its a new one out and not many people have it yet cause there is no second hand ones. I was gonna go for mountain buggy duet but gonna give this one a go now.

Aries456 · 23/07/2018 10:24

I found a tutorial online for the My monster easy twin and it looks identical- I think it must be the same brand but different names for different countries. The tutorial looked just like the mountain duet but it is half the price.... I have a couple of months to go so be very interested to hear what you think when you get yours. I see Argos stock it but it is a little bit more than the cheapest you can get it online but I did figure you could take it back to a store pretty easily...

Hello, was just wondering if you did find anymore reviews online or possibly purchased the twin stroller yourself? Need some feedback as I’m trying to buy a pram for my twins and on the face of it, it seems ok.
Much appreciated

I have ordered mine a while ago and its due to get delivered on 8th sept. When i came to order it i noticed its pre order as the pram hasnt actually been released yet so thats why there is bearly any reviews. Its pretty much brand new. I have just took a leap of faith as its only 65cm wide which sold it for me really. I will give you an update when its here. My twins arent due till novemeber though so wont be using it till then

Aries456 · 27/08/2018 16:53

Hi, sorry i didn't go for it in the end. I saw a good YouTube video of my little monster and thought that looked good but when I questioned if they were the same company (via amazon) they said they weren't... I went for a 2nd hand donkey in the end. I guess only advice would be to get one from Argos and take it back if you don't like it. So odd there isn't more info out there about it!

Ahh ok that explains the lack of reviews then! Thank you both so much, I think I will just take a leap of faith and get it from Argos where I would be able to return it.
Congratulations and good luck for when your twins come 😉

Aries456 · 27/08/2018 18:00

Ooh excites to hear what you both think when they arrive. Maybe I will live to regret not getting one!

Anyone have this pram?!

Doubletheadventure · 05/01/2020 15:06

Yes I do! Had it for 18 months, and it’s absolutely brilliant, I wouldn’t be without it. Let me know if you want any info on it! But what I can say is that it is so easy to manoeuvre, great turning circle, light to push, folds down nicely ( you do need a big boot though) narrow afternoon 65cm wide so fits through any doorway I’ve tried, just perfect and so reasonable!

22Ash22 · 05/01/2020 20:05

Thanks @doubletheadventure I’m pregnant with twins and looking for the right pram. All I know is I want them side by side and there isn’t a huge selection unless I’m willing to spend thousands! Not sure if I’d class my boot as big, but it’s definitely not small 😂 thanks for replying though, really appreciate it! X

BlueRaincoat89 · 21/01/2020 11:00

I'm torn between this one and the Mountain Buggy Duet - this makes so much more sense price wise though. Has anybody used this with a buggy board?

@Doubletheadventure did you use the carrycots with yours initially?

Doubletheadventure · 21/01/2020 21:09

@BlueRaincoat89 - yes I had/ still have the 2 carry cote, they were great and did my girls up to 6 months and detached from the pram and had straps so if the fell asleep you could bring the whole carry cot off and in to the house or restaurant or friends houses, they were a great on the go nap solution (obviously notu supervised) but loved them.

Haven’t used a buggy board as only have the girls, but couldn’t see why there would be an issue getting one.

I don’t know where you are located, but if you do decide to go for it you are welcome to buy my carry cots we secondhand For a much more affordable cost ( I can send photos etc) was about to take them to a nearly new sale but will hold off if you like. There in pristine condition.

Let me know, but regardless of that, it really is a fab buggy and a lot of my twin friends have the mountain buggy have suffered punctures whilst out ( the my child wheels cannot puncture) and there cocoons as there called only did them to 3 months.

Best of luck choosing your buggy! X

BlueRaincoat89 · 22/01/2020 14:27

@Doubletheadventure Thanks for the offer, but we're holding off buying anything for a while - just trying to make a list for when we do start.

Thanks for all the info too, that's really useful - definitely sounds like a good option for us and the manufacturer has told me about a buggy board that fits so that's another plus. One other question - do the carry cots attach to the existing seat or does that seat material need to be removed first?

Doubletheadventure · 22/01/2020 21:13

@BlueRaincoat89 no worries at all!

we just put the carrycots on top of the existing seats, the slotted in fine and we had no problems, I only recently saw the video of the buggy where they take them off and was like ‘(oooopps/why bother it doesn’t matter) .

That’s good to know about the buggy board too!

Best of luck x

BlueRaincoat89 · 22/01/2020 21:48

@Doubletheadventure that's good for us that they can go on the existing seats as we might sometimes put our 2 year old in and have a twin in a sling. It would be a bit of a faff having to put the seat material on every time. Thanks for all your help x

laus78 · 06/02/2020 15:48

Hi ladies
Ive got the my child twin stroller on order, what isofix bases are compatible? X

BristolBones · 05/03/2020 15:58

@Doubletheadventure we've just got the MyChild Easy Twin and seems good but I struggle getting the carry cots on at the same time. The bit where the 2 seats meet is really hard to see - also finding it difficult to get all the poppers fastened on the carrycot when they're on. Did you experience this or am I doing something wrong?! I really like how light it feels and the narrowness so want to keep it but it just seems so difficult getting the cots on and off.

Cleopatrax · 19/04/2020 13:51

Hi did you ever find out what isofix is compatible with the my child car seats?

Or alternatively does anyone know if the stroller is compatible with any other car seats for e.g maxi Cosi are there clips you can buy to adapt?

Twinbabies2020 · 06/08/2020 00:29

Hi has anyone used different car seats with the my child double stroller? It’s the best double pram I’ve seen that has carry cots push chair and ability to attach car seats. The car seats that come with it are currently either out of stock or for pre order on every website I’ve checked and I’m a bit dubious about ordering if I can’t get the car seats that attach to it. Thanks

ClaudiaReid · 24/08/2020 17:59

Hi did anyone find out if there are isofix bases for the mychild car seats or if you can use a sifferent car seat in this twin stroller.
I am due my second child on my first child’s 1st birthday 😂

Charleemckenzie · 28/08/2020 09:13

Is it good quality and not flimsy? Also would a 1.5 year old fit in it.

CorriganTwins · 04/10/2020 09:51

Hi all, first time pregnancy for me so trying to get my head around everything. I emailed MyChild about Isofix and they said it isnt compatible. Should that be a deal breaker? Giving the price I think id be happy to strap in with normal seat belts but iv no idea how annoying this could get so any advice.....

Also, on the actual car seat that are compatible. They have a car seat to fit into it but only does up to 12 months. My guess would be after that no other car seats are compatible. Anyone know differently???

Taurus2404 · 09/11/2020 19:44

@BristolBones My sister has just found out she is having twins and I’ve bought her this pram, she just got it delivered yesterday and she is finding that it is very tight fit. There isn’t much space between the carrycots and she has the same problem with the poppers. Did you resolve your issues..? Any advice?
