Hi
We are expecting our first baby and have started looking at car seats and pushchairs etc. I know different car seats e.g. Maxi-cosi can be fitted onto different pushchairs which we probably plan to do unless a pushchair make has a good car seat (everyone seems to rave about maxi cosi) but I'm also looking for a pushchair that:

a) Is suitable from birth until (around 3y ??) - from what I've read it needs to have a lie flat mode for newborns. And some have a carry cot bit that can be used like a moses basket - is this a good idea if baby falls asleep during a walk as you can leave them in then?
b) Compatiable for a 2nd child as we will probably have another baby within 2 years if all goes to plan (I know thats a big IF)
c) Is suitable for more rural terrain, we live in the countryside so I'd still like to be able to walk the dog etc.
d) Easy to fold etc. and put in the boot (VW Golf Mk 5)
Is there anything else I've not mentioned I should look for?

I'm hoping that if we get an idea of some suitable models we've got a bit of time to find one on e-bay (obviously planning to get a new car seat).
Thanks

Babyjogger city mini GT, or Elite. It's a brilliant buggy and ticks all your boxes. We are on our second child now with a 2.5 yr gap, and think we will get away with this being our only pushchair purchase for both children (currently I sling baby and push older daughter, or swap them and he goes in buggy and she walks).
The one-handed fold is pretty good and the wheels come off very easily if you need it to go in a particularly small boot.
