Help choose a pram for someone who really doesn't like prams- a Bee? Or something else?

I really don't like pushing a pram around and only used a sling for my eldest, but now I have a 2.5 year old and a new baby I need to give in and get one!

I want a pram that my eldest can sit in until about aged 3 while I carry my baby in a sling, then baby can sit in from age 1 whilst eldest goes on a buggy board/ walks.

I'd like something with an easy one handed push, that won't tip over if it's empty with a bag on, easily accessible basket (harder accessing basket with baby in sling on my front), easy to use with buggy board so handle that will extend behind toddler, doesn't bump much eg on cobbles as my eldest hates bumping, narrow for buses, easy to get up steps by either bumping/ dragging/ carrying.

After quite a bit of research the bugaboo bee seems the best option, but I'm worried it will be really bumpy on cobbles and that a 3 year old won't fit as the seat looks short. Also worried that it might tip over with a bag on and that the basket will be hard to access as it is so low.

Does anyone have any advice or suggestions?

Have also considered bjcm, mutsy evo, oyster, maclaren techno, donkey, yoyo zen- nothing quite right so trying to choose the best fit!

Sorry I can't help but I'm wondering the same thing about the Bee!

Bee is a bit rubbish on cobbles and I've found it doesn't hold a 3 year old that well, either size wise or weight wise. Something with bigger wheels? Cameleon would be good on cobbles if you like bugaboo.

I loved our bugaboo bee but we found it was too small at 3 and swapped to a bjcm gt. The new bugaboo bee 3 has an extendable seat back so might go bigger though. You're right about the basket too. We like the bjcm but it isn't as nifty.

Uppababy Vista worth a look for you. Huge basket that's really easy to access when toddler is world facing. I will have a similar gap to you when no 2 arrives and plan to do the exact same as you propose.

I don't have an older child, but I love my bugaboo chameleon. I live somewhere very hilly and cobblestoney and it's really good. Used it on a few long countryside walks as well.

Donkey in mono mode fits most of your requirements - one handed push, accessible basket (at the side), seat big enough for 3 year old, doesn't tip easily (esp as you can get a bag in the side basket and one underneath so may not need to hang on the handle), has biggish wheels so should be ok on cobbles, extendable handle so room for buggy board. Parent or world facing seat. Not narrow for the bus though because of side basket.

I have twins (2.9) and a singleton and alternate between twins walking and baby in pushchair/one twin walking (or back carry in sling), one in pushchair and baby in pushchair/baby in sling and twins in pushchair. I find it very versatile indeed.

Easywalker Mosey ticks nearly all the boxes - the basket isn't that easy to access but there are excellent bag hooks on the handlebars so you can bung lots of stuff on there.

Whenever I see an Uppababby Vista I think what a great design, I would seriously consider one of those... or a Bugaboo (the older ones are super cheap on eBay and they just go on forever). I think you need something a bit sturdier if you need a buggy board etc. otherwise I would recommend a Microlite, they are just brilliant.

Second the easywalker mosey. Fantastic pushchair. Stable. Doesn't tip, very good one handed push. Hooks on the handlebars are fantastic- so useful. It folds down quite flat, is comfy, narrow enough to fit down a bus aisle and the handle retracts so it squeezes into tiny bus spaces.
Also has a reversible comfy seat and a carrycot that concertinas flat. Brilliant bit of kit
