Will I miss parent facing option?

I'm torn between a Baby Jogger City Mini GT and the Baby Jogger City Versa (not keen on premier or select as folding size appears larger)!

For months I was so sure it would be the City Mini with the deluxe for for first few months but my DH is worried about not being able to have baby parent facing if we want. Did anyone with a BJCMGT miss this or is it really not much of an issue?

It's not a given that we will find a car seat that's compatible with BJ to use as parent facing as my car is quite small therefore this will dictate what seat we can get away with.

Advice much appreciated!

My DD is three and her pram can be forward or parent facing...mamas and papas sola. We have only ever used it as parent facing....would hate for her to be FF, she doesn't like it either. We love chatting and interacting.

Thanks moggle and others! I am still none the wiser as to what to do!
I'm 31 weeks now and have been looking into this since about 14 weeks pregnant so similar situation to you moggle Grin
I think the folding dimensions of the Versa about better/slightly smaller than the select or premier which is what attracted me to the Versa before they disappear.
Aaagh! DH and I have some more info to go on but the thread is split down the middle!!

I could have bought a car with more confidence than this!

Versa is heavy! I thought it was perfect until I tried it out. It's really big and weighs a lot.

We actually have three buggies because there isn't one that does everything.

A super cheap shit one for airplanes
An easywalker mosey for the car and bus
A huge coach built beast for snow and long walks.

We were lucky with the price of our versa (£220) so I felt able to buy the baby jogger zip as well, without spending more than lots of people spend on one buggy.

My toddler doesn't like the hood up on our buggy so I turn him world or parent facing depending on the sun so its not in his face!

It sounds like you need the bugaboo buffalo. That's what I've decided on. It is a fortune but I'm trying to look at it as price per mile and the comfort and use I'll get out of it as a forward facing off-roader. They also hold their value so if you can get the money upfront I'd go for that and sacrifice other things.
