Pushchair with big sun canopy

I'm looking for a new pushchair and want one with the biggest possible sun canopy. I live in a hot country and coming into summer I'm a bit paranoid about my DD getting sunburnt / too hot!

Any recommendations for one with a canopy that covers as much of your child as possible? She is 9 months but looking for one that will last as long as possible.

Baby Jogger and Bubaboo Bee always looked good to me. I had a Cosatto and that was ok, but not brilliant. I think the new Bugaboo Bee summer canopies have an extra bit at the front too and a UV filter or something fancy...

You could always just get a snooze shade I think they help with sun

Definitely a baby jogger city mini. You can squeeze an eight year old in so they're fairly roomy and will last.

I've got an easywalker mosey. The sun canopy is ridiculously big! When it's completely down it covers her up totally. Great buggy too. My 6 year old fits in it so will definitely last.

Love my baby jogger city gt. Big canopy, folds easily and my tall 4 yr old still fits in easily.

Britax b agile had a massive hood it covers most of their body.

I bought an old fashioned clip on canopy from mother care- it had 2 arms to fasten on to the pram and was huge! Much admired by many people and kept baby well shaded.

Mammas and Papas Armadillo xt has the biggest ive ever seen!

Please don't use one of those black covers - they basically turn the pushchair into an oven.

I've got a mamas and papas armadillo flip and as the previous poster says, biggest hood I've seen on any pushchair. Was great today in the sun!

Uppababy Vista. Huge UV protector canopy, massive basket and can become a double buggy for just the cost of an adaptor if you decide to have another baby soon after. It's also lots cheaper than the bugaboo buffalo which was the nearest equivalent I can find. For summer newborns the ventilation in the carrycot seemed superior to that in the icandy and bugaboo equivalents. I'm nearly a year into using mine and love it - only downside is that the rear wheels are wide but I haven't had any problems on buses etc and the huge basket makes up for it!

Another vote for uppababy vista. Would buy again in a heartbeat!

The snooze shade website says

Be aware that prams are often made from solid fabric that may heat up and if it has a long low hood then hot air has nowhere to go which can make it stuffy. We suggest you retract the hood and use SnoozeShade to allow maximum airflow.

Obviously they prefer you to use their product but it has holes in to stop it overheating. Would be interested to know which is best with summer coming up.

Baby jogger city mini - I got the zip as I prefer 4 wheels. Big UV50 sunshade, roller blind at the back to allow air flow through (so not too hot).

In theory I got it for holidays (little one is 4 months now and we plan to go away this year) but it seems to be replacing our proper travel system (M&P Sola) already as it is ridiculously easy to fold/push/use etc. I've just ordered the car seat adaptors and I think as soon as they arrive the Sola will only be used to and from the house. So nice to have boot space again!

Mosey hood is huge. Comes right down over them.
Doesn't have a mesh peekaboo window though.

Valco snap / red kite push me (they are the same pram). huge canopy.

MacLaren xt has a maasive hood,, you just unzipped at the back of the normal hood and it extends right out to almost cover the entire pushchair in the sat up position

Definitely the armadillo flip xt. The sun canopy is amazing.
