Pushchair mode on Mothercare Spin

Hi, has anyone else struggled to use pushchair mode on this buggy? My eight month old seems to be laying flat on an angle held in by the harness Confused. Am I doing something stupid?!

Make sure you have the metal bar underneath in place to make the seat stay in place.
