Yes very sturdy but not sure about the wheel size? I do know that some three wheelers have a very compact fold. Would you consider one?

Have you seen a micralite? The Micralite is a compact fold, with all terrain wheels. It looks like it folds similar to an umbrella buggy, but it has big rear wheels. It's quite a strange looking buggy so might take some getting used to but they have good reviews. I think there are different models depending on what level of basic or luxury features you want, for example if you want a full travel system and carrycot.
