uppababy rumble seat over 15kg?

I'm having a drama sorting out a suitable double buggy. I have an 'old' vista, the rumble seat says up to 15kg but has anyone here used it above that?? is it actually likely to collapse or woukd it be ok for short periods?

We just tried it with our 19kg v tall not quite 3yo. Not a chance. Pram looked like it would snap at the joints if you were lifting it up and down kerbs.....

Just bought a Joovy caboose ultralight. Pretty good. But after using a vista it's so flimsy!!
