How to convert uppababy vista to 2children?

I bought the uppababy vista in 2014 so not the new 2015 edition.
Does anyone know how to use it for a baby and toddler? Will I need to buy extra equipment?

You'd need to buy a rumble seat, which seem to be like good dust for the pre 2015 model... :(

I have 2013 edition for DS (1) and we're thinking about DC 2 but to be honest, the more I look at the new model the more I'm considering selling my 2013 and buying a 2015. .

Yes the 2015 model looks very nice and there are lots of pictures if how you can combine bassinet with toddler seat and even car seat with toddler seat.

I don't think you can put a bassinet with a toddler seat. Bassinet and buggy board, yes. How old is/will the toddler be?

You might have to bite the bullet and get a double buggy instead until the toddler can use a buggy board.

Or use a sling with the newborn as long as possible and carry on using the Vista for the toddler?

I have it - you need rumble seat and/or buggy board (a universal one will do). You can't use the rumble seat with pram but you can with a car seat or the main seat. It's not ideal tbh and awkward to push. We don't use it that much but then again we mostly rely on a car.

The rumble seat costs about £90 and I could only find one retailer in the uk- almost all have stopped selling.

You can't use bassinet and toddler seat on anything other than 2015 model, it's been redesigned.
I've thought about sling for newborn keeping my toddler in the toddler seat for a bit longer
