BJMC footmuff - BuggySnuggle or BettyBramble

hi all. we have the BJMC. not keen on bjmc branded footmuff so looking at alternatives. anyone have experience of buggysnuggle or bettybramble with bjmc?

main questions
-will it still fold with footmuff attached?
-can I put my hand under the footmuff easily to access fold strap?

also if I can't easily use the fold mechanism could I cut a hole in the footmuff where the handle is easily to let me do this?!

I bought a cheap universal footmuff for my bjcm (actually one aimed at the petite star zia as I liked the rounded shape) and was able to add two long buttonholes with my sewing machine to put the fold handle through. If you just cut slits you'll get the fabric fraying I'd imagine. Before I had that I had an old Zia footmuff, and I am using a lamb skin in the summer, neither with slits for the pull handle. putting my hand under to get to the handle isn't a big deal but if I was paying buggy snuggle / Betty bramble prices I would personally want everything! But I imagine someone with a sewing machine could add buttonholes for you.
