BabyJogger City Versa or Versa GT?

Back to the perennial problem - Versa or Versa GT?

I would like the GT wheels as we live in Brighton and go to sea and downs quite often - BUT am worried by lack of suspension in GT for everyday use.

I currently have a Phil and Ted's Navigator. Does anyone know whether the Versa GT is much heavier and harder to push/push up kerbs than the Navigator?

Also, in the US you can just add the GT wheels to the regular buggy by buying the GT wheels kit. I know it's not 'approved' here - but has anyone heard of anyone trying it? Anyone know any reason why it wouldn't work?

Very many thanks!

Sorry cant tell you much about the handling of the versa compared to the versa GT but I know that they had to make some significant changes to the chassis to meet British safety standards which is why it isn't safe to swap normal wheels for GT ones on a normal chassis. It would also invalidate your warranty too.

Thanks Captainmm, that at least answers that bit. I won't try any home improvements!

Does anyone else know about the handling of the Versa vs the Versa GT - and how they compare with, say, a double Phil and Ted's?

Am also considering a versa but although I know I don't need the all terrain wheels I have found watching the YouTube videos by baby gizmo and nessalee baby very useful, may sway you one way or the other.
