Bjcm gt for 3month old - how to make it comfy

I plan to move my daughter in to the main seat as she doesn't like to be in the carrycot. Does anyone have any suggestions as to how to make it comfy for her. Any particular liners / cosy toes that would suit? Would her head go on to the liner or do I need some kind of head huger? Thanks for your suggestions. She is my first so I have no idea what I am doing!

We had a Wallaboo fleece liner (sold on a website called hippychick I think) that fitted the bjcm nicely and was really cosy.

I put DD in the pushchair at the same age and bought the Uppababy snug seat. It's fleecy with a head hugger, and I can't see why it wouldn't suit another pram with a 5 point harness.

The seat is flat, you don't need any sort of head hugger imo. This time of year I would probably opt for some kind of footmuff that surrounds the head. Mamas and papas do some nice ones and good discounts if you're near an outlet shop. Dd1 was in the main seat of a city mini double from birth, there wasn't a carrycot at that time and she was completely fine in her footmuff.

If you're bothered about the fold strap then I guess you need either the bj one or something that will allow the fold strap to be fed inside through holes in the footmuff. If you're happy to reach under the footmuff to get to the fold strap then most things should fit fine.

Thank you. I had thought about using the icandy raspberry pod but thought that would be a pain with the fold mechanism so maybe something thinner with a less solid base would work. I will have a look at the suggestions.

I don't think anything with a solid base is necessary, the seat back has a board in so it has a solid base already. The snug seat would also be an issue with the fold I think.

I used a Furry Buggysnuggle with a Phil and teds lambskin for my then 9 week old and she seemed comfy enough.

The snuggle has a space for the strap and I just reached under the sheepskin which was not an issue when folding.

I got this kaiser fleece cuddle bag for my four month old DS when he moved out of the carrycot, it pulls nicely around the head and is ever so snug! It's advertised for a car seat but works wonderfully with the five point baby jogger harness.

I bought a Babydan lamb skin from ebay, used in Moses basket and in pram, it was perfect.

I was wondering the same thing, but for a summer newborn. Has anyone got any ideas that would make it secure and comfy but not too hot?

I didn't buy my BabyJogger until DD2 was 18 months old, so I've never used it with a baby younger than that, but I have a BuggySnuggle footmuff on mine. You can't make use of the fab flap that hooks the footmuff over the back of the pram and stops it sliding down (due to the back of the BabyJogger being 'all in one' with the mesh and the hood) but it does have two slits for varying crotch strap positions and one of these is in just the right place to allow you to grab the fold handle.

If you tuck the BuggySnuggle up under the hood/mesh at the top of the seat when it's upright it doesn't slide down.

I've got a Summer Infant Headhugger thingy going spare if anyone is interested. It worked very nicely for DS1 in the BJCM up to about 6 months old, it really wasn't necessary by then, especially with a footmuff which usually come nicely padded anyway.
