Help!!! Vista 2015, Bee3, BabyZen, something else I haven't thought of.....?

I'm due to have my first baby in February and having pushchair dilemmas. I'm in the US so have slightly different options to those in the UK but I'd say the 3 above are the main ones I'm looking at. What do people who have these think of them? Am I missing any other obvious choices?

My heart is definitely saying the Vista but I just worry that I will find it cumbersome 1/2 the time and wish that I had something lighter and more nippy. Maybe adding something like the Babyzen at 6 months is the way to go? If I did want to go with it from birth, they don't sell the BabyZen 0+ addition in the US but family would be able to get it in the UK and bring it over.

Criteria:

Live in a city with no car and not an enormous amount of storage space. Will be using public transport a bit. Will most likely also have a sling for when I have to use PT on my own (not looking forward to this!) but something maneuverable would be handy as I might get brave

It is highly likely to snow where we live (possibly a lot). Are the wheels good enough on all of these options? I'm not convinced about the Bee in a lot of snow. Seems like it could struggle!

I am very small, DH is tall so although I'll be using it the majority of the time, something that suits us both would be great.

Hoping to have a second child fairly close in age so extension options are good (sounds like the new Vista could be great for this)

We come back to the UK a fair bit so something that travels well would be great (BabyZen?)

I like having the option to switch between forward and rear facing seats.

I would get the babyzen yoyo 0+ sent over. It will suit best for public transport, small space at home, and flights.

Get a decent sling like boba 4g that's lasts newborn to toddler. When it snows use the sling. Virtually all prams even off road ones are rubbish in the snow, so a sling far more practical. Especially as in snow your even more likely to take public transport as cold so a big pram couldn't be used

Oh and we have small age gap ( 15 months), and never used a double pram, so wouldn't buy one that converts just for that feature as likely not to use.
We also live small flat/ Central London, and when we had two small children we put newborn in sling and small toddler in pram. Had x2 slings for if both parents out so no pram. Both stopped using pram around 18months - 2 years

I wouldn't buy something for the double potential at this stage either (although I would and did use one for a sub 2yr age gap) the only problem for you and the yoyo is the high handlebar, can you go and see the regular one to check how that might work for you? Given the climate I'm not sure I would go for a bee, probably not but it does offer the best combination of what you want if not absolutely ideal. The vista I think is just too big.

Thank you! I'll go and test drive the 6+ yoyo I think. I will also check out the new Vista when it comes out this month. The size does concern me a bit but the carrycot seems like the cosiest option when it's cold.

Felled do a newborn sheepskin footmuff that would fit in the babyzen newborn if your worried about the cold

I'm in a similar position i.e. live in a city with not much space and the Icandy Raspberry is one i've been looking at, especially because it's light but sturdy and stands on it's own when folded.

Get a YoYo if you think it will suit. The Raspberry is lovely too and is that little bit bigger. Have you looked at a Baby Jogger Versa? The Versa really is very practical. Snow is a completely different entity! There aren't many pushchairs which really cope well with snow. I would buy a cheap off roader for winter if snow is an issue.

BTW I wouldn't get a Bee3. The other pushchairs are much better.

I have the Yoyo because we live in a first floor flat with only outdoor stairs and it is excellent. Not sure about snow performance as I am in London and not had snow since DD has been in the Yoyo but in terms of manoeuvrability, ease of carrying on one shoulder, and the tiny fold down size for travelling, I cannot fault it.

7am Enfant have really warm foot muffs that fit universally and from birth. Fellhoff have nice sheepskin but I preferred th 7am ones because they have a hood that totally encapsulates my DD. it will also extend as she grows so well worth the cost!
