Are more expensive pushchairs worth it?

Hello

I'm currently 22 weeks with DC2 and have just started looking into a pram. I'm not very pram savvy, but basically want something lightweight, parent facing and suitable for a newborn. We're going to go have a look round some shops this Sunday.

So far, Graco Evo and Babystyle Oyster look like possible contenders. However I'm also really liking the look of the Bugaboo Bee and the iCandy Raspberry, but need to be able to justify the extra cost as they take us right to the top of our budget. So I suppose I want to know from those with experience whether they're really worth it? Are they noticeably different in quality or would I just be paying for a name? Hmm

Also, if anyone has any other suggestions for us they would be much appreciated Grin

Thanks
(FWIW, I had a Silvercross 3D last time which my mum bought us and which I didn't get along with at all as was far far too heavy and difficult to manoeuvre. Sold it and bought a Maclaren Quest)

If it veered left it sounds faulty, they're not my favourite pushchair but they aren't hard to handle.. Or they shouldn't be.

The Chrome is very manoeuverable, definitely one handed in most circumstances. With the board rider on I can't remember.. Which is probably as good thing as it means I didn't notice, which is a positive thing. I had 18m old dd2 in the seat, 3yo dd1 on the board and holding the hand of 5yo ds, if it was hard too hard to handle with one hand I wouldn't have left the house with it more than once... Grin

I'm not in the game anymore but if I was the easywalker mosey is the one I'm hanging my hat on, if dd2 wasn't 2 and a half I would definitely be trying one.

Oh really, perhaps it was just a dodgy display model then. I will have a try out in another shop to make sure. It sounds like you had your hands full when you had the Chrome Grin will definitely have a look at that one again then.

I really really like the look of the Mosey from what I've seen online but when I checked on their website it said they only had stockists in London which is a bit far from us and I'd ideally like to try it out first.
