Icandy peach 3 double or Bugaboo Donkey? Which would you get?

I need a double and I'm considering either of these two pushchairs.

The Icandy is much heavier than the Bugaboo (I have neck and back issues) but the icandy seems more manoeuvrable as it is not as wide!

The lady in the shop seemed to think the Bugaboo was better for us but I'm not sure!

Ds1, will be 22 months when dc2 arrives and isn't walking yet.

Have you looked at phil and teds? They seem to be everywhere.

I agree with Tealady1983, I've had my peach2 for nearly a year and it's been perfect! I know people say it's heavy but I really don't lift it that much, only in and out of the car or up the stairs to my front door, for me it feels more secure than anything else. It's so easy to push even with both DS and DD in, you really can't tell the difference in the way it moves whether it's a single or a double!

Well, we've got twins and I can't rate the Donkey highly enough. We initially bought the icandy but switched to the donkey before our twins were born. According to a number of friends of ours, their children either both hated the bottom seat or they grew out of it really quickly. One friend also said that it was a faff tending to the child on the bottom. And of course, it's heavy.

The donkey isn't without it's flaws (cost!), but it's been absolutely brilliant for us. I can count on one hand the number of doors I haven't been able to fit through (little front doors on Victorian cottages and the very occasional small shop door) as it's got the footprint of a wheelchair and can go anywhere a handicapped person can go (which is most places)! We don't have a car, so I exclusively use public transport, and I never have a problem getting on buses or trains (on buses, it fits neatly into that little handicap spot for wheelchairs so another buggy can get on) aside from the problems anyone would have with a single buggy.

As for the benefits, both kids can face you (which was important to me) or face out or even face each other. I like that I have easy access to both of my girls if I need to give them a snack or wipe a nose or something, and they both have 'top billing' for views, which cuts down on arguments. There's also the bonus of being able to convert to a single, which is dead convenient if you're only taking one child in the buggy. It's a dream to push one-handed with starbucks and is very nippy getting around turns and shop aisles. Also lightweight, more so than the icandy.

To be fair I suppose it's a matter of choice whether you prefer your babies to be side-by-side or one on top of the other - certainly when I put my DD in the bottom seat she really loves it as she's that bit closer to the ground so can identify animals etc at eye level. Also I can convert it back to a single with a couple of clicks.

I know the peach3 can have both babies facing you now, and also that you can buy the new adaptors to fit your peach2 so I can (and will!) be upgrading mine soon...
