Little Nipper 360 double or Phil & Teds sport?

Sorry, this is my second post, but I wanted to change the thread title as my thoughts have changed!

I need a pushchair for a 25 month old and a newborn (due October), that will cope with long walks off road with a dog.

I have the option to buy an old Nipper V1, but not sure of the seats go fully flat for a newborn, and how they compare with the later models.

I've had loads of Phil & Ted Sport recommendations, but I think the baby being in the underneath pouch looks weird - I've never tried one though!

Any experience/advice? Thank you!

Personally I prefer the Nipper as its lighter to push and the V1 is suitable from birth but I'd get a snuggly footmuff or something to enclose it a bit, you may even be able to use a P&T type cocoon as a carrycot strapped into the seat.

But you'd get more use out of a P&T in the long run, I've never been keen on the set up of the double decker pushchairs though so its personal preference really.

Thanks for the replies, that's really helpful. I'm not keen on the idea of a tandem so I think we're going to buy my sister's old Little Nipper V1. Just hope it fits through all the gates on our usual dog walk!

I have the Phil and Teds sport and in my opinion it is crap. It is so bloody heavy it hurts my wrists to push off road (which is what I bought it for). I am putting it back on eBay and am currently watching out n abouts as my friend's is so amazingly light!
